Volunteers are the lifeblood of the crucial work done by the Bristol Dogs and Cats Home and the RSPCA Bristol Animal Clinic. Whatever your skills, there will be a way for you to lend us a helping hand. All our volunteers need to be aged over 18, but you can commit as much or little time as you can spare.
For hands on help with our canine friends, why not volunteer to be a dog walker? Please see below for more details.
If you have good communication skills and like meeting people, then maybe working as a charity shop assistant at our shops either in St Philips or in Gloucester Road would be ideal for you.
Fundraising and event volunteers are always needed to help us raise the £1.4 million we need to cover our annual running costs.
Help out at Open Day, Fun Day & Dog Show and various fairs as well as some external events such as local dog shows and many other occasions. Help is always needed at collections, occasionally in the fundraising office or even stuffing envelopes. This is an opportunity to make friends (human and animal!) and really benefit our cause.
For details about these opportunities and a whole host of other ways in which you can volunteer, please download the Volunteering Information Pack to the left of the screen.
