A major proportion of our running costs, are met each year by legacies. Indeed the opportunity for the Branch to build the Clinic only came about due to the generosity of the legacy left by the late Mrs Louise Wall who had been a lifelong supporter of the RSPCA. Obviously this was a very special legacy, but our everyday existence relies on all the bequests whatever their size.

Anyone considering making a bequest can specify whether the legacy should be to help the RSPCA Bristol Branch or the Bristol Dogs & Cats Home. To ensure that your support is used as you wish then your instructions should specify either:

RSPCA Bristol & District Branch – Charity Registration Number 205858

or

Bristol Dogs & Cats Home – Charity Registration Number 205858

The Charity Registration number is the same for both charities and that is why it is important to name the charity clearly. In this way there will be the minimum of delay or cost in putting the legacy to the valuable work it was intended for.
