It costs approximately £1,500 per day to provide food, clean accomodation, veterinary treatment (including neutering and micro-chipping), for around 2000 animals that come into the Bristol Dogs Home each year, (this includes necessary services such as heat, light and telephones).

The RSPCA Clinic has similar costs of around £1,400 per day.

A commitment of £5 each month will guarantee The Dogs Home or Clinic a regular income, that's as little as 16p per day.

You can donate to either charity in a number of ways. If you would like to donate with a debit or credit card visit www.charitychoice.co.uk and go to the ‘charity search section’. Alternatively you can call 0117 9714197 to make a card payment.
To make a payment by post, please send a cheque or postal order to either:

Using Gift Aid means for every pound you give, we get an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.
This means that £10 can be turned into £12.80 just as long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what difference that could make, and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

All you need to do is state that you would like your donation to include Gift Aid, we’ll do the rest!

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year.

Regular gifts from your pay packet, money is taken out before tax is deducted. For more information on this kind of giving see Allaboutgiving.org website. Give As You Earn is an excellent way for employees to make a tax-free donation to RSPCA Bristol or The Dogs Home.
